How do rankings work?
Rankings are based on community votes. People vote for their favorite places, services, and local experiences in each city. The leaderboard reflects the live vote totals cast by real users.
Can businesses pay to improve their ranking?
No. Paid placements create visibility, but they do not change votes, ranking order, or leaderboard results. Sponsorship and ranking position are fully separate.
How can I suggest a ranking?
You can suggest a ranking from any city page or through the suggestion tools available on the site. Suggestions are reviewed and may be added to the leaderboard.
How can a business advertise?
Businesses can visit the Advertise page to request a media kit or sponsorship information. Advertising creates visibility — it does not affect ranking results.
Is Best of My City available in every city?
We are expanding city by city. If your city is not live yet, you can sign up for launch updates or suggest future rankings through the newsletter.
How many times can I vote?
Each person gets one active vote per ranking. You can change your vote at any time if you discover a new favorite, but daily repeat voting is not allowed.
