Best Of My City is a community voting platform that lets users discover and vote for the best local businesses, services, and places in their city. bestofplaya.mx is the current public city site for Playa del Carmen within the Best Of My City platform. This Privacy Policy covers the entire Best Of My City platform and all city sites operating under it.

• Account information: If you sign in using Google, Facebook, or email, we receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by the OAuth provider.
• Voting activity: The votes you cast, the rankings you participate in, and the businesses you vote for are stored to operate the platform and display live rankings.
• Submitted content: Ranking suggestions, business submissions, and any content you voluntarily submit through the platform.
• Usage data: Standard web analytics data such as pages visited and general interaction patterns, collected through our hosting and analytics providers.

• To create and manage your account.

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Google — OAuth sign-in (Google Account) and optional Google Places data.
• Meta / Facebook — OAuth sign-in (Facebook Account).
• Vercel — application hosting and deployment.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share data with third-party service providers as necessary to operate the platform, as described in Section 4.
